So what is HYROX exactly?
HYROX is a global fitness race that combines running with functional workouts. Participants complete eight 1-kilometer runs, each followed by a functional workout, such as sled pushes, rowing, or burpee broad jumps. This unique combination tests both your endurance and strength, making it a comprehensive fitness challenge that fits perfectly with our Rev Tribe! The workouts are not too far off from our own here at Rev but different enough that you’ll notice it!
Training for HYROX
Training for a HYROX event requires a balanced approach that focuses on both cardiovascular endurance and functional strength. Here are some key components to consider in your training regimen:
1. Endurance Running: Incorporate regular running sessions into your routine to build stamina. Interval training and long-distance runs can help improve your speed and endurance.
