REMINDER:

Accountability only holds weight if you’re willing to hear from those that have gone before you, are literally in the trenches with you, and can impart knowledge, experience, and are willing to be brutally honest… that, and your own reflection. Accountability from your social media “cheerleaders” is as empty as the time you’re spending on the phone and not on yourself. Learn that your best metric is continuing to empty the self, stay humble, stay hungry. Not to fill your self with a bunch of self serving, egoistic bullshit. We have no mirrors on this Holy Ground for a reason… it has to be more than about you as this meat covered rack of bones that’s hurtling through space on a spec of dust in a universe of gazillions of stars… Perspective people… Perspective.

Current stuff:

  • Corina & Paul Barnes, Ashley & Siegfried Flores, Bien Flores (Sieg’s brother), & Emily Kemp, along with 2 other team members, competed in the Ragnar Trail Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR this last weekend! Each team member trail runs a 2.9, 5.7, and 7 mile loop, for a total of 124.8 miles. Their team completed it in 27 hours and 48 minutes! Great job you all! So proud of you!!!

  • The ISE Group is releasing our E-Learning platform for Civilian Safety & Security - For everyday and travel, Workplace Violence Prevention & Intervention, and Active Shooter Survivability Training.

    • Everyone’s favorite challenge begins Thursday, 5/2

    • Ends Saturday, 6/29

      • You do not need any previous fight or martial arts training.

      • You do not need to purchase any special gear, unless you wish to use your own.

      • You do not have to spar.

      • What if I travel? Go on vacation?

        • No worries! The fight sessions will be posted and you will be able to practice while out of town!

    • How’s it work?

      • Taken from the premise of “taking a fight @ 8weeks out”, we will discover what you’re made of!

      • You will pick a “Fight” weight you’ll achieve in the 8 weeks.

        • Our trainers will assist you with nutritional and supplement advise. You’ll GET POINTS reporting your nutrition to your assigned trainer.

        • GET POINTS from drinking at least 1 gallon of water daily.

        • You’ll GET POINTS weighing in every Monday. *This may be done at home, though we suggest utilizing S2 and their body scan, it’s free.

        • You’ll weigh in on “Fight Night” at the end of the challenge.

      • You’ll GET POINTS attending Fight University’s MMA / Kickboxing / Fight Fit training sessions at least 3 days/week.

The Deep Water will remind you, time and again, that joy, happiness, and peace, are not permanent states, nor are they inalienable rights… they are earned. They are also most recognizable when you’ve spent enough time in the Deep Water and the abyss to the opposition of all three. So when you experience those fleeting moments, embrace them as you would your child, soak them in, let them fill you in all their momentary, magnificent splendor. In turn to your individual experience, how are you showing up as someone else’s joy, happiness, or peace?… It is not our responsibility for anyone else’s joy, happiness, or peace… but we can hold ourselves accountable to not be the other side that teaches them what those experiences are not. Do not hold those in contempt that have spent their lives in the darkest corners, and struggle with their personal joys, happiness, and peace… because they are probably doing everything they can to keep everyone around them from experiencing the level of darkness they’ve existed in. Only those that have seen the darkest will ever truly know the value of the brief encounters with light. The Deep Water will help you find your light and carry it for all to see. Someday, you and those around you will need it. If it’s not there, you will be lost.
