    • Hey Tribe! I miss the old days of 20+ of you in here on a Saturday morning and getting after it together! Spring is here and let’s get outside!!! Bring it and bring the kiddos! We can scale for them!

  • JOIN US FOR - “FIGHT FIT “

    • Give it a try and spread the word!!!

      • “FIGHT FIT” is a 45 minute, intense circuit of:

        • Flexibility

        • Heavy Bag Kickboxing

        • Rower / Ski Erg / Air Bike Sprints

        • Kettle Bell / Dumbbell / Smash Ball Complex’

        • Core & Mobility exercises

      • Classes are included in your membership!

      • Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays 8:15-9am

      • Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:15-1pm

      • No experience necessary!

      • You may wear your shoes for the kickboxing.

      • Bring your gloves if you’d like, or use ours!

  • THE ISE GROUP is releasing our E-Learning platform for Civilian Safety & Security - For everyday and travel, Workplace Violence Prevention & Intervention, and Active Shooter Survivability Training.

    • These E-Learning courses are accessible for individuals up to organizations with thousands of members or employees.

    • The courses are accessible on any device.

    • The modules are time manageable, engaging, utilizing video, graphics, current metrics, and easy to understand verbiage, and application to every day life.

    • Each module also includes quizzes to ensure retention for the end user.

THIS WEEK:

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING:

  • Mass & Speed (Week 2 of 4)

    • Combining shorter explosive sets & cardio bursts to develop that red twitch fiber, lactic threshold, and faster recovery yielding athletic progress.

    • Keep up the clean nutrition and balance your diet for energy needs - get some fast burning carbs in you.

    • Push the water, electrolytes, and aminos.


MARTIAL ARTS / MMA:

  • Striking to grappling for positional control and set ups to finish

  • Submissions from the bottom

  • Varied sweeps from bottom for guard, side control, kesa, and mount.

  • Underhook escape side control to:

    • jump in triangle

    • sweep

    • sit out to anaconda or d’arce

  • Side control to opportunistic kimura, armbars

  • Kesa to d’arce / kimura

  • Power strikes and angles to set up “high/low” game


YOUTH MARTIAL ARTS / MMA:

  • setting up Ogoshi & Tai o’ Toshi

  • Take downs- shots

  • Catching kicks to takedowns

  • Mount sweeps

  • Speed/Reflex drills

  • Counters, Sprawling after striking is countered.

  • Power striking, combinations to throws

  • Self Defense -Hapkido - Anti bullying


IRON ARSENAL DEFENSIVE TACTICS / COMBATIVES:

  • Level I - crash entries to duck under:

    • 2 on 1 at “Backstop”

    • head and arm choke / takedown

    • back take and rear sag or RNC variations

      • “Climb the rope”

      • “Rattle the Cage”

    • Crash entries from high / low combinations

      • Develop ability to crash anywhere along the combination chain

  • Utilizing strikes from duck under position in transition

  • Damage along the way - knees, elbows, - opportunistic targets

  • Level II - catching chokes from 2 on 1 (standing)

  • Escape from standing holds to backstop position

  • #DirtyJudo from “Backstop”

  • Utilizing secondary and tertiary weapon deployment amidst attack

  • Weapon retention
